Recommendations for the massage

Home Massage London

CAUTION

  • Individuals who suffer from fever, nausea, thrombosis and some other major illnesses should refrain from any massage.

  • Pregnant women in the first 12 weeks should avoid receiving any treatment, after which massage during pregnancy is encouraged to relieve aches and fatigue.

BASIC RULES:

  • It is best to remove all neck and wrist jewelry (including watches) and any over-sized rings and earrings.

  • SHOWER BEFORE MASSAGE Let’s get one thing out of the way: experienced massage therapists agree that taking a shower before your massage is a always a good idea. You should rinse off perspiration or environmental pollutants before your treatment or therapy, because you don’t want all that to be rubbed into your skin. A shower will also help loosen up your muscles to help you receive more benefits from the treatment. Plus, it’s easier to feel confident and relaxed about the massage when you know you’re squeaky-clean

Plan ahead: On your first visit, there will be a few informal questions about your health and lifestyle. There may be a few instances, where the massage can not take place, so ensure you are aware of anything that could stop your treatment.

Sound Advice: Some people like to talk during a massage. Some prefer to relax without conversation. Do what feels best. We'll follow your lead.

Communicate: This is your customised massage. If you have feedback on pressure, room temperature, lighting...let me know.

Hydrate: Water flushes out the minerals that were released during your massage,

whilst rehydrating your muscles and reducing potential soreness.
